What to Expect
At The City you'll be welcomed into a friendly and casual environment by people who are genuinely happy to see you.
What to expect when I visit?
Be prepared to participate in radical praise and heartfelt worship, led by our prophetic Praise Team and Davidic worship dance ministry. Don’t be surprised by the shouting, dancing, singing, running, jumping, laughing or even crying that will go forth as a sweet-smelling sacrifice to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As a visitor will I be singled out?
You will NOT be asked to say anything or even introduce yourself as a visitor. You will be given a gift bag which includes a guest information card. If possible, we ask that you fill it out and return it to an usher. If you prefer not to wave, that is fine, too. We do not want you to do anything that would make you feel uncomfortable.
What about my children?
We have an exciting Youth/Children’s Ministry called “The Truth”. Services are held in the lower level of the church for Early Education-ages 2-5years, Kingdom Kids-ages 6-12, “P.H.A.T.” Ministry (Positive Holistic
Alternatives for Teens)-ages 13-18. Overall, they will experience God in a fun, loving and teaching environment designed just for their age.
How do I become a member?
At the end of every service an opportunity is given for all those that desire to give their life to Christ, be restored, or become a part of The City of Zion Church. All you have to do is step forward and come to the front of the sanctuary. There you will be met with love by one of our associate ministers who will confirm your reason for coming forward.
