Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.”
Giving is indeed more than a financial transaction. It is a reflection of a greater approach to life. As we continue to obey Jesus by proclaiming the Gospel and making disciples, we are thankful to those who give. For over 50 years, generous givers have funded the operation and ministry of Emmanuel. As followers of Jesus we believe that giving is an act of worship, and includes many inherent blessings. Since giving acknowledges God as the owner of all things, including the resources he has entrusted to our care, we do not take casually the matter of giving. In fact, Jesus teaches, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21).
